About us

The One Town One Voice Community Singing Initiative is a nationwide solidarity-through-song movement, supported by the Tomar Trust.

We are a not-for-profit enterprise that brings people together in communities across Ireland, including those who have moved from other countries. We establish and support community singing groups that are focused primarily on community integration and using communal singing in a positive, secular, non-political and inclusive way to help people get to know each other, work together, relax together and break down barriers.

We welcome towns and communities across Ireland to join our movement! Our National Coordinator Colleen Werle and musical advisor Lisa Dunphy will help and advise as your group gets off the ground.

And together your singing group can be a positive force in your town, and develop projects of special local importance – just like this one from the Fermoy International Choir in March 2021 – taking a local ballad and sprinkling it with a modern respectful multicultural magic.
